‘V-Rock Festival 2011′ offers exclusive ticketing opportunities for overseas fans!

Since January, tokyohive has been giving fans updates on this year’s ‘V-Rock Festival 2011‘.

The ‘V-Rock Festival’ will be making its comeback after a two-year hiatus. Boasting an impressive line-up, J-Rock fans will be flocking to the Saitama Super Arena for October 23rd to enjoy a night unlike any other.

If you’re a fan who wants to go but aren’t sure how to purchase tickets, fear not — SYNC MUSIC JAPAN has an exclusive ticketing service for overseas fans!

Fans can check out the Nexus-Web webpage and purchase their tickets. There is a ¥1,000 discount for pre-sale tickets, which will be ending September 2nd. These are ‘free-seating’ tickets (¥11,000 tax in), with a one drink minimum (¥500).

Regular ticket sales will begin on September 3rd and are ¥12,000 (tax in), with a one drink minimum (¥500).

girugamesh Starting Download for New Song

On July 20th, the download for girugamesh's new song "Future" has just opened and is now available through various platforms. The song is the theme song for the event "Naruhodo! Manaberu Nihon to Russia", which will be held this year in August.. 

The event is making use of a quiz to learn and think about the future between and for both, Russia and Japan. It will be held in seven cities throughout Japan and a number of guests will be expected to take part.

Currently "Future" is only available for mobile download via Recochoku, dwango and mu-mo and a broader release has not yet been announced.

Updated lineup of artists for V-Rock Festival 2011!

V-Rock Festival 2011 has added various new artists for this year’s festival which will occur on October 23rd at Saitama Super Arena.

The new added artists are: BORN, Golden Bomber, lynch., SOPHIA, Versailles, DaizyStripper, D-Out, Eins:Vier, LM.C, and Michael Monroe. For Eins:Vier, this will be their first live in 12 years since their dissolution.

The festival released the first line up of artists to perform at Saitama Super Arena on October 23rd.

Girugamesh ~GO~ New Album

Hey again, it was a tiring day really but let me first write about ~Girugamesh~ new album ~GO~ is going to be released on the 26th of Jan 2011

the album is going to be in two versions, I really hope its going to be as good as MUSIC x3 someone can hope right? xP

"Extremely Hot Version" of girugamesh's New Album!

On January 26th, girugamesh will be releasing their new album "GO" and the contents of the disc have just been announced, which will again be pretty "extreme". Next to a regular edition, there will be an "extremely hot version". And this extremely hot version is really something outstanding!

Especially the extra DVD is something very noteworthy about it. It will contain 120 minutes (=2 hours) of footage! They certainly could have sold that DVD on its own, don't you think? (laughs)
The DVD will be showing "FALL TOUR 2010 documentary footage", "2010 Behind girugamesh recap footage" as well as "G-TRAVEL 2010 in SUMMER footage". Moreover, the music videos for their singles "COLOR" and "Inochi no Ki" will be included.

The price will be according to the album title "5,555" Yen - read "GO GO GO GO Yen", which is easy to remember, so make sure to spend your holiday bonus at a record online shop you trust!

girugamesh announces 2011 world tour, new album

Rock band girugamesh has just announced a world tour and a new album. They delivered the news during their concert at Yokohama Bay Hall on Saturday, which was streamed live worldwide on Ustream. They also updated their official website with details.

The tour will be held in March 2011. The schedule is as follows:

• 3/5 - Moscow, Russia
• 3/6 - St. Petersburg, Russia
• 3/8 - Helsinki, Finland
• 3/11 - Berlin, Germany
• 3/12 - Budapest, Hungary
• 3/13 - Munich, Germany
• 3/15 - Strasbourg, France
• 3/16 - Paris, France
• 3/18 - London, UK
• 3/19 - Bochum, Germany

More dates are expected to be added in the future.

Before the tour, girugamesh will release a new album on January 26. The title has not yet been announced, but the limited edition will have 2 CDs and a DVD, while the regular edition will have only 1 CD.

According to their website, the second CD of the limited edition is planned to contain a live recording of the Yokohama concert. The DVD will have music videos for their songs "COLOR" and "Inochi no Ki," plus footage of their fall tour and more.
